How many people at forecastle

Last year, I wrote a story about how Regalo uses the festival to connect with fans. Several local beer and spirits brands will have a place at the festival too. The bourbon lodge, an air-conditioned bar where many brands set up shop, is back again this year.

Jeff Cuellar , vice president of Strategic Partnerships at Forecastle promotor AC Entertainment, said in an emailed statement: "Ticket sales are really strong right now and we have a great momentum leading into the festival. We've really hit our sweet spot in terms of attendance the last few years — in the neighborhood of 65, to 70, and we expect to be on par with that again this year.

As expected Friday and Saturday are our two hottest days but Sunday is going to be phenomenal as well. My first Forecastle was in I stood on the Great Lawn and watched Drive-by Truckers the first day of the show. I realized halfway through that I liked them a lot but didn't know enough of their songs. So I went home and started listening to everything they ever put out. What a summer that was. Don't think I've missed a festival since. Speaking of Forecastle memories, we've got lots of them.

Although still down from peak years, 's attendance of 65, was substantially up from last year. Forecastle Festival, Louisville. Last year's festival in Waterfront Park drew a record 65,, the max for organizers. Pitchfork Festival, Chicago.

LouFest, St. Louis, Missouri. T his underrated jewel averages 50, over two days. Louder Than Life, Louisville. A hard rock festival that also pushes food and bourbon, LTL drew 50, over two days last year, a record.
